Shingle style..Bungalow...Victorian...American Colonial...Andulusian....Spanish Revival....Spanish Colonial....Moorish...Tuscan.....Italian...All styles which are prevalent in the costal towns of California for example: Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, Huntington Beach, San Diego, Coronado Island, and San Fransisco Bay area.

Throughout her career Alexandra has designed custom homes and restored historic properties honoring traditional elements while incorporating contemporary amenities.
  • 1984-1990 (Mass./ Vermont) Alexandra worked as an apprentice in New England: North Shore Massachusetts for Architect/Constructor Stan Magnuson as well as in Burlington Vermont for Architects Martin Tierney and Brad Rabinowitz learning to restore and enlarge historic homes that honor the existing architectural styles from the early 1900's.  She worked on Shingle style bungalows and Queen Anne Victorian restorations including the restoration of the the Web Vanderbuilt, 40 room Summer home in Shelburne Vermont.
  • 1990-1994 (Hawaii) Alexandra was employed as a project designer by WATG, an international hotel and resort firm.  This experience, working with talented architects from all over the world and the travel involved enhanced her interest in international architectural vocabularies.  Alexandra opened her first office in Hawaii: "Remodeling of Hawaii" which focused on large scale additions and restoration.
  • 1994-2011 Tucson Arizona. Alexandra served as director of design for homes constructed primarily of masonry or adobe.  Design concepts were derived from historic, indigenious architecture that included Spanish Colonial and Territorial.  Most recent project a 1903, a two story West University renovation/additon, was awarded by Tucson Historic Preservation Society.  in  1997,Alexandra was also selected as Architect of Record for PBS series "This Old House" Tucson Project.
  • 2004-2008 (Tucson), Alexandra's work was sought and contracted by Emarr Properties, Dubai UEA to design 50 villas and townhomes.  Through extensive study of culture and historic architecture she derived architectural vocabularies for Spanish Colonial, Spanish Revival, Andalusian, Tuscan, Italian, Mugal, Moorish, Islamic, Moroccan, Malaysian, and Arabic. This project was an incredible opportunity and prooved to be a culmination of much of her life's work.
Alexandra is now residing in Los Angelos area with a satillite office in Santa Barbara.
